Paige Spiranac slams critics who reduce her to ‘two assets’ and shuts down claims she’s using them to get ahead

Posted on June 26, 2025

Paige Spiranac, the former professional golfer turned social media sensation, is once again speaking out against the critics who try to define her by her appearance. Known for her massive online following and her outspoken nature, Spiranac has never been one to shy away from addressing double standards, and this time she’s taking aim at those who reduce her success to “two assets.”

In a recent post that’s stirred conversation across social media platforms, Spiranac responded firmly to the ongoing criticism that she only became popular because of her physical looks, particularly her chest. Some followers and internet trolls have repeatedly made claims suggesting she intentionally uses her body to gain attention and grow her platform. But Spiranac isn’t having it. She made it clear that her achievements come from hard work, content creation, and her ability to connect with fans—not just her appearance.

“I’m tired of being reduced to just two body parts,” she said. “It’s disrespectful and dismissive of everything I’ve built.” Spiranac, who has nearly four million followers on Instagram, regularly posts golf content, instructional videos, and commentary on sports topics. She has also worked with several major brands, runs a successful podcast, and uses her platform to promote body confidence and challenge outdated norms in the golf industry.

Critics have long debated whether her clothing choices are appropriate for the traditional sport of golf, but Spiranac argues that the sport needs more inclusivity, not judgment. She has repeatedly emphasized that being feminine, confident, and stylish should not discredit someone’s passion or knowledge of the game.

In shutting down the accusations that she’s using her body to get ahead, Paige reminded fans that she was a competitive athlete for years, grinding through the same challenges any golfer faces. Her transition to social media wasn’t a shortcut, she says, but a shift into a space where she could express herself more freely and create content her own way.

What many people overlook is how she’s used her platform to advocate for mental health, share her struggles with cyberbullying, and support young women who often feel judged for how they look. Spiranac is aware of the attention she gets but refuses to be boxed into a stereotype. “I have the right to look how I want and still be taken seriously,” she stated.

This recent pushback serves as another reminder that public figures—especially women—are often held to unfair standards. While male athletes are celebrated for their confidence and boldness, women in sports are still criticized for how they dress or present themselves. Paige Spiranac is choosing to speak up not just for herself but for all women who have been told they must tone themselves down to be respected.

With her latest response, she’s not just clapping back at internet critics—she’s setting a new tone in the conversation around beauty, respect, and power in the sports world.
