Hollywood star Brad Pitt is a Kansas City Chiefs fan. He made that abundantly clear when he appeared as a guest on Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
Pitt has always been a big supporter of the team. In fact, in his conversation with the Kelce brothers, he shared that he loves the Chiefs’ rivalry with the Philadelphia Eagles and how he once roasted fellow actor and good friend Bradley Cooper for being part of the Philly faithful.
“I was giving him this award,” Pitt recalled of his troll moment with Cooper, per Chiefs Wire. “He’s been nominated like 18 times for Oscars. It was at the Santa Barbara (International Film Festival), and I closed with, ‘Listen, he’s been nominated (the) 1,900th time. If he doesn’t get it, it’s OK, he’s used to it. He’s a Philadelphia Eagles fan.”
Despite being a Chiefs fan, though, Pitt admitted to Travis Kelce that he has never attended a home game.
“We got to get you back to Arrowhead, big dog,” Kelce said before asking, “Have you ever been to a Chiefs game in KC?”
Pitt then pondered the question before answering: “You know … no, I never have. I never have. But, OK, this is the year then.”
The Chiefs social media team shared a clip of Pitt’s admission on Instagram and sent a message of their own to the 61-year-old movie star.
“‘Bout time, Brad!” the post said.
If Pitt is able to get to a game at Arrowhead Stadium, perhaps fans will see him share a moment with Kelce’s girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, who has attended several Kansas City home games the past two seasons.
